Today was the championship meet for our swim league. Since we have both kids swimming, we had to attend both sessions. Swimming for us went from 7:45 this morning until 5:45 this afternoon. Mike and I are utterly exhausted and I wonder if my butt will ever "wake up" from it's deep sleep! For the afternoon session, this lady packed herself in between me and the railing and reeked of body odor and halitosis. ick. Anywho, the kids did really well and our team took home the championship title!! 16 of us went out to dinner afterwards and waited for a table for an hour and forty-five minutes. I guess that's what we get on Valentine's Day.
I don't think we'll get out of our jammies tomorrow. Hooray for sleeping in! How was your weekend?

Sounds like you had an exciting Valentine's Day!! Congrats on the championship!!! Give the kids big HUGS and KISSES and KNUCKLES for me and tell them how AWESOME, TALENTED and INSPIRING I think they are!!
We celebrated last night. We don't do dinner on Valentine's because the wait is always 2-3 hours - as you know ;) We've had a fun, low key day at home with the kids today. I think everyone is sick from sharing Chris' 3 lb. solid chocolate heart (see my blog) I gave him!! It's half gone already.....I thought it would last at least a week.....
Congratulations to both kids and to the team as well. I remember spending a few Valentine's Days up at the U of U watching state meets when the kids were older...days that I will always treasure.
Glad that you were able to go out to dinner after.
Love and miss you all
Congrats to the swimmers!! That's really awe-some!
Um, HELLO, you should have gone to Chick-fil-a for dinner! The adults could have had a nice romantical dinner, and the kids can go play in the ball pit.
